These Link Manager Pro tutorials are grouped by goal, so pick the one that matches the job you have in mind. Each one covers a single task from start to finish, and links to the page with every detail.
Work with affiliate links
These five tutorials cover affiliate links, from the first short link for a partner to the notice your readers see.
- Cloak an affiliate link: take one partner from a long affiliate URL to a short link that's tagged, marked
sponsored, disclosed and tracked. - Manage affiliate links: keep affiliate links up to date: find a partner's links, change your tag, and handle a partner that moves or closes its program.
- Add an affiliate disclosure: turn on the notice, check its text and position, and see it on your own site.
- Run Black Friday and other sale links: add a dated routing rule to each deal link, tag the sale as one campaign, and let the links return to normal by themselves.
- Add nofollow or sponsored: check the Nofollow switch, mark partner links
sponsored, and see therelattribute each link gets.
Measure your links
Use these tutorials to see who clicks your short links and where those visitors came from.
- Track clicks on a link: check the tracking settings, test a click, read each link's report and compare your links.
- Tag links for a campaign: save a campaign, tag its short links with UTM parameters, test a click, then read the results.
Keep links working
These tutorials help when an address is broken, moved or hard to reach.
- Find and fix broken links: run a Link Health scan, fix each broken link with a redirect or a post edit, and see the 404s your visitors hit.
- Redirect an old URL: send an old address to the page that replaced it, so visitors and search engines land there instead of on a 404.
- Fix orphaned posts: scan your posts in Link Audit, then link each orphaned post from a related post.
- Change your short link prefix: enter a new prefix, then update the links you control while the old addresses keep opening.
Share, route and shorten
These tutorials change how short links reach people and how links in your posts look.
- Share a link or QR code: copy a short link from its report, share it with the share buttons, get its QR code, and see which network sent the clicks.
- Send visitors by country or device: add routing rules to a short link so one country, or one phone system, goes to its own destination.
- Shorten every link in your posts: back up, run Scan posts to turn full links to other sites into short links, check the result, and undo it.
